Is the invoice generator really free?
Yes. You can make up to 5 quotes, invoices or receipts free, with your brand, services catalogue and client list included. After that, Starter is $26 a month (£19 in the UK) for 30 documents.
What should an invoice include?
Your business name and contact details, the client's name, an invoice number, the date, what you did with prices, any tax, the total and how to pay. Lumiist fills all of these in for you.
Can I send a quote or estimate first?
Yes. Write a quote (some people call it an estimate), your client approves it from the link, and it becomes an invoice in one click with nothing typed twice.
How do my clients pay?
By card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe, or by bank transfer, PayPal or cash. Card payments mark the invoice paid automatically.
Does it work in my country and currency?
Yes. Invoices follow your country's format, tax wording and dates, and you charge in the currency you choose. Sales tax in the US, VAT in the UK.
Can I edit what it writes?
